I can't find a place where I could buy just the slide tool piece that comes with swap magic. Does anyone know where I could find one seperately for purchase?
You can easily make one. I made my slide tool from one of those credit cards. I got the instructions from http://www.ps2-exploit.da.ru/ Just print the picture out and put it over a credit card or hard but cuttable surface and cut it out. Thats all to it. GOod luck

Thx OCDGamer. If you need any help on the slide tool just let me know. Its very easy to make and you wont damage your ps2 if you are careful, meaning not all rough and uncaring. Either than that, your Ps2 is good to go! Plus you save money!
