can someone help me PLEASE!!!
i'm trying to play backup games for ps2 and when i try using swap magic cd it works 95% all the time.
BUT when i try using swap magic DVD to play DVD BACKUP GAMES it gives me an error message even if i TRY to watch dvd original movies it still gives me an error message. and i dont think its the laser because
the swap magic cd/ works perfectly.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!

what brand media are you using (also swap magic can't load dvd movies)

The smd dvd 2.0 gives that problem to alot of users, even me. What i do is, start ps2, open tray put in the dvd, close tray, restart. Usually helps. Also, try this. Put the dvd in with title facing you, not sideways or upside down. My ps2 will not play all dvd's as well, I think those movies might be on a DVD+R.

Usually the Swap Magic CD causes more trouble than the Swap Magic DVD. But you say it doesn't load DVD's, then it MAY be a problem with the laser. Dispite the fact your PS2 can read CD's doesn´t mean that it can read DVD's. My PS2 had some trouble reading CD's and cleaning the laser lens helped it a lot. Search for more info on these forums and over the internet. You should be able to find a lot of tutorials. If you don´t have any experience (or are afraid) on opening your PS2, don't do it. I didn't had any but I did following a tutorial, so it worked out great. Your Swap Magic DVD could be a faulty one, talk to your retailer. And believe me, if you can boot a lot of games with the Swap Magic CD, you are very lucky.
