But to answer you question I am primarliy a Yahoo user. I would never create a Hotmail account, but I did once have a Go account. that was the old web link of Walt Disney. I think I have lost it since haven't been there for almost 10 years now. And I was one of the first people to get an account there. scarry how time flies by.
Seriously...Why do people around my place (CT) love hotmail... I just don't get it... doesn't yahoo give around 50mb? hotmail's onl 2...Aventuremail I hear is 2gb.. but I don't think the free ones work...like paying for it gives like 4 GB!!! Anyways no I don't work for da government, I'm too young...only 18 :P peace!
Ya yahoo offers you 100Mb and 10Mb for attachments. It much better than Hotmail and its licence aggreement doesn`t say that they have rights to all e-mail messages and comments. Microsoft Hotmail, has the right to read your messages and still you ideas from the message if they please.
People sign on to Hotmail for the same reason they sign on to AOL. That they don`t know any better.

Well opinions vary I suppose.........
I just use my standard mail address that I get with my ISP (I think 10Mb/message etc) to do my ordering with, for close friends, any email I receive on it - I know about it already, therefore no virus etc is getting in that way and also setup for plain text - no attachments - unless I know about it beforehand....
And I USE HOTMAIL, for signing up to forums and registering shit with - cos you know those types that bombard you with shit loads of spam etc, therefore I use the FREE options with hotmail.......and it is fun to read some of them from time to time......LOL.....
Why have all this spam blocking software cluttering up your PC when you just point it at hotmail and let them deal with it..........simple.....
I do agree that it is only 2Mb per message, but I do not NEED anymore than that so it does me fine.......
Heehee, and for the record - I do know better, I just choose to use EXACTLY what I need it for, and do not require all the bells and whistles.........
