comScore: Bing hits 20 percent search market share

article published on 16 April, 2015

According to research firm comScore, Bing has reached a significant milestone: 20 percent share in the search market. Google had 64.4 percent share, continuing its undisputed time as search leader. Don't ask me how because Bing absolutely sucks as a search engine compared to Google. Maybe this is because because Bing is being pre-installed on many different devices of those users who do not know how to change it.

Because when you type for help in windows 8.1 it searches with bing which by the way is no help at all. One of many ways Microsoft uses to inflate numbers for their crappy search engine. Why go through the trouble to make a good search engine when you can make people believe other people actually use your search engine.

I am as big a Google fan boy as there is, and even I am starting to use Bing from time to time.
Google is massaging the searches, restricting certain searches and otherwise not providing me with a pure search like I want.
That being said, Bing recently completely overhauled their image search page and basically made it unusable.

Oh, Im sorry... Did the middle of my sentence interrupt the beginning of yours?

I switched from saying that I'm going to Google something to I'm going to Bing it. Always throws people off.
