Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if someone could help me. I am in the process of converting my videos to DVDs using the DVDR 75. This has worked beautifully with tapes from the PAL system (the format used in parts of Asia, Australia, NZ).

However, when I play a tape from the NTSC system (the format used in the US), I get picture but not sound. I know the sound exists because if I hit the menu button on my VCR (so that the picture disppears), the sound comes on beautifully.

My VCR is connected to the DVDR 75 via a co-ax cable. I have tried various combinations and have not found a solution to this.

I would appreciate any assistance anyone can provide.
