does anyone know if they will ever release blank dvd that can store larger files that way we wont have to compresse the movies so much ???
and if so does that mean we would need a new dvd burner?
As I type this there is dual layer media being produced that holds up to 8.5 GB of data and dual layer burners are sitting on the shelves waiting to be purchased :)

Im just kind of new to this website , so do u think those types of blank dvds and dvd burners are going to be much more expensive than the dvd-r 4.7gb
once these new dvds come out that means we wont have to compress movies right ,just decrpyt and burn .......
