Hi guys, I normally do a full dvd backup, but I'm thinking about doing some backups of the movie only to increase quality. My main concern/question is if I go into reauthor mode and backup only the movie (no menus or extras), will the movie still contain chapters? For example to get into the say, 30 minute mark, can I skip ahead a few chapters like a regular dvd, or are the chapters gone and I have to fast forward from the very beginning of the movie? Thanks

You should be able to use the next chapter feature to skip forward to the chapter you wish.

In reauthor mode chapter feature is retained - you can also click on the compression settings tab to further remove unwanted languages/subtitles etc. to reduce compression required
