Is there a way to play only a portion of a video file? For example, I have some video (mpeg or .avi) of old boxing and I'd like to just play the last 2-3 rounds. How can I select and save just these parts? I was told that you can do this with windows media player 9 series which I'm using on winXP. However, I can't figure out how to do this. Can anyone who knows the steps please help? Also, if there's other recommended software that can do this please let me know. Thanks.

Well you could cut the Parts that you want to watch out of the File and make a New File with just the Parts you want...You can use Virtual-Dub for AVI editing and I use "Mpeg2VCR" for Mpeg editing....
