I am trying to convert french subtitles on an svcd to french. I have no idea what to do. Please help or link me to a guide.

Well you Open up the Sub file with Notepad and then translate all of the English Movie Dialog to French or Visa Versa...Just remember to only change the Movie Dialog and nothing else....

Its a telesync so there is no sub file. The subs were recorded on the screen with the cam. Doesnt seem possible converting them but maybe someone knows a way that i havent heard of.

what you can do is start from scratch. sub station alpha is the only tool i know off, and i hardly use it, cause making subtitle is too much work :)
