I wanna put my .avi/mpeg movies onto cdr so i can watch them on my dvd player. Ive used the japanese tmpegh program but deleted after it wouldnt even recognise the .avi files, and since i could burn the mpeg movie on i didnt see the point. I tried a load of other similar programs but they all didnt work. Now i have nero, and during the "encode" part it just froze at 89% for 2.5 hours.

I burned a movie on as a data file and it plays when i put it on my pc, but not on the dvd player (it does support svcd). The thing thats bortherin me the most is that i know it can be done but ive been trying for 2 weeks now and its stressing me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
