I got screwed without a thank you. As usual. I buy something that brags about being able to write these DVDs, knowing I will have to do some work with some non-standard software, and the things won't even copy half of the junk around. They don't store enough on the discs. Even something as pathetic as "Bad Taste" by Peter Jackson, at only 91 minutes, insists it is too large.

How many think that something that can store 3 gig less than the max available on the other should have the same capabilities implied on the box? It's bad enough with the DVD -/+ crud, but finding out that I have to go through such a dance, and two discs, to copy something that only runs 91 minutes is a true rip-off.

And everyone seems so intent on writing the things down to CDs instead that I have trouble finding info/tools for something that uses what capabilities the DVD writer does have. I bought the thing to make decent copies, not some crappy viewing stuff. If I want that, I can use VHS! DVD Decrypter is about as complex as I can get with it because of the swarm of "copy your mother's rear end onto a CD-R" type merde ads around.

Grrrrrrrrrrrr... what a waste.
