Greeting, I am writhing this message from Japan.
I am not good at English, please forgive me.
I installed DUO2 to the SCPH-50000 (Jap Ver. 10).
DVD backup is fails to boot. PS2 DVD original SWs can be booted using stealth mode. PSX SWs are booted both original and backup.
Please let me know where point should I check ?
Each point seems to be OK.

I did as you mentioned, then original one could be booted, but the backuped one could not.
Do you think the cabling is correct ?

For confirmation, I mean the DVD as PS2 mode DVD game software.

Hi
I had the exact same problem. My PS2 was brand new so it could not be the laser. what i did was to first connet the ground using a 1 cm wires to the nearest ground(instead of the point shown in the diagram which was at the other end of mainboard) and secondly i rewired the B, F,G,H.I at the bottom of the mb. now it is working perfectly.
