I somewhat prefer Slacker's larger track/artist selection and station customization, BUT: This is a great idea! Furthermore, if it's not popular, they're only out the small advertising investment (informing about the change) and they can just stop doing it. Easy peasy. An almost totally risk-free avenue for extra income, that also happens to effectively advertise Pandora to NON-subscription users? Genius!

Kudos to Pandora for having a decent marketing department; it's a rarity in the business world xD ...

I've been wanting this feature for a while. There are maybe 2 or 3 times a year where I use pandora extensively and would happily pay a small fee for no ads.
