I have tried Hellboy varioud times and get no audio one time and other times some audio in the middle chapters. Anyone have a clue?
Also, Kill Bill Vol 1, always seems to lock up during the initial previewing. Anyone??
A week back when I did Master of Disguise as a full disc instead of re-authoring, the start menu would fly through a bunch of pictures/movies and when the start menu options finally appeared, you could not click them to actually start the movie or look at the special features. I was checking the copy on my hard drive before burning it with PowerDVD to make sure it was good. I have had this problem a few times when trying to copy the whole DVD, so now I usually just do the movie. Any ideas????
anyone have an idea of what is wrong with this guys stuff? Could it be PowerDVD not reading right? Or could he have an audio setting wrong in DVD Shrink, like the Audio Preview Mode in the Preview Tab for PReferences?
Sounds like too much compression. I have run into similar problems when applying custom compression to the menu. Just try and keep your maximum compression levels above 55%. Below that, the nav structure can get a bit unstable. As a rule I try to stay at 75% or higher for resonable picture quality.
You may want to get the newest version of Shrink if you don't already have it.
Tell me what settings you are using in Shrink "Audio tab" under Edit-> Preferences. Tell me about your PC as well.
As far as COmputer, I don't know offhand what the processor is, either a 1.8 or a 2.1, it has been a year, 128RAM, 60GB Hard Drive, DVD/CD and a DVDRW/CDRW, XP.
As far as Audio under preferences there is no tab? In the Preview tab I have STEREO as the "audio preview mode suitable for hardware configuration" and System Default Renderer for "DirectX video renderer."
In Output files I have the Remove Macro, Remove P-UOP, Remove layer break, Split VOB into 1 GB allchecked.
Stream Selections, English as the Audio Language and coding type, with "ALL TYPES" I also have the disable all subpicture except menus and forced streams, but I checked that after running into these problems.
