I just wanted to know if any one has experienced a problem with vice City using hd loader. The game freezes every time I move the cursor to "Load" when you hit start or when you run into the save icon. This does not happen when you first run into to the Icon to save a new game onto a blank memory card. But seconds after saving you can't save again. Any Info or if you could point me to the source of info would be great.

that happened to me too, but i've never heard of anybody else with the problem..

are you, by chance, using the doublepack version? i was, and i thought that might have been the problem.

Im having a problem with the saves on GTA III . . Im able to save successfully and load successfully; however, the game freezes at this screen. I am using the greatest hits version. Any help?/

I'm really hoping someone that knows something can help us with this. Because I have no where else to turn at this point.
What I have been able to do with Vice City(other games also experience this problem) is use 2 memory cards. I start up the ps2 delete save on mem card 2, load hd loader, load Vice city, loads off of mem card 1, than when I want to save switch the memory cards.

There seems to be no problems when the memory card does not contain a previous save for the game I'm playing. The games only freeze when there is a previous save. Please someone guide us, it would be most helpful.

When I first got the HD Loader I was able to save and load Vice City and GTA III games. All of a sudden I am having the problems that you are too. I have pinpointed the problem to the connection between the Harddrive. The only way I know how to fix it is by pulling off the Hard Drive when you want to play the games that have problems or by doing the memory card swap. I have the orgional versions of Vice City and III.
