I need router help!!

Im having a problem with port forwarding. Im using a program called Azureus to d/l torrent files. Iv followed all the directions to enable port forwarding, I set up a static ip, then enabled forwarding with TCP and UDP, and set the port range to include every port that Azureus uses, then pointed it at said static ip. But when i start the program it still gives me an error saying NAT port scanning failed for the port i set up. The kicker is when i go into the Azureus wizard and test the port it says its OK. If it helps im using a Network Anywhere router, a Toshiba PCX2500 cable modem, and windows XP. And yes norton is compleatly disabled and so is the xp firewall. Iv tried everything and thiss is driving me CRAZY!!!!
