According to new reports, Verizon will bring back activation fees on November 15th, a fee that many thought was gone forever when T-Mobile started their war on the industry. Verizon will charge $20 for all customers adding a new line of service, at least if you go on a payment plan but it is unclear if the fee still applies if you are bringing your own device to the carrier. Huh? I just signed up for a new 2 year contract and was charged a $40 activation fee last week.

Sounds about right, In a Country where we pay the highest fees for the most limited of features, would you expect anything different?

I have been wanting to get a cheaper carrier but I have 8 months to go on my contract. Does anyone know if we can get out of it .

they advertise that but when you get there with a single line they say that is for family plans
