It has been suggested today, although unconfirmed, that the ISIS terrorists could have used game consoles to hide their messages and plan the Paris attacks that have killed 132 innocent people. Considering exactly zero actual leads came from their previous (mis)adventures with Second Life and World of Warcraft, I'm extremely skeptical of this bid to surveill yet another aspect of our lives.

People, we are - quite literally - no safer now, after giving up so many rights, than we were before 9/11. In recent news, it was revealed that 97% security-testing agents, with simulated explosives, weapons, and so on, were undetected by TSA. Those side-scan "pornoscanners"? Many don't work at all, and the ones that DO are ridiculously easily bypassed by anyone who bothers to search the internet for the method. It's not just worthless, it's of negative value!
