Guys,
Iīve got the answer,I thought to put the xbox dvd drive into my pc since it reads xbox games. The pc tried to read dvds and it worked,THE PC TRIED TO READ THE XBOX GAMES AND IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But u need a program, the problem is that it doesnīt show itīs name and i donīt find its files too. With that pogram u make your pc recognize the drive so that the game files can be accesible.

What program are you talking about that lets your PC recognize the Xbox drive?

Well thatīs the problem the icon is invisible. It doesnīt show the name and i checked everything, but the problem is how i got it on my computer, cause i didnīt downloaded it.It simply appeared as a space between 2 icons in the start->all programs and it canīt be copied. It doesnīt have any option at all.I simply put my xbox drive in the pc and it started from itself. It asked:CONVERT XBOX DVD DRIVE TO COMPUTER DVD DRIVE?and i said yes and voila.Thatīs it maybe itīs from the drive. It did itself.I have an Samsung dvd drive.Hope it works with others.

that answers the question, since the only button to open the tray is on the xbox itself. but i have another question; how do you power the drive? it has that special power connector thing.

hmm its just as easy to connect to a pc to your xbox than swap around xbox dvd drives and have a lumpy xbox tray sticking outta your pc
youre saying you had an invisible icon, of a program you dont remember, that let your pc see an xbox drive?
hmmmmm, some good info for everyone there lol

That's an old guide and has been made easier with craxtion. It still has nothing to do with loading an xbox original game into your pc dvdrom. It is an ftp guide for retrieving the files from the xbox dvd rom and placing them in a folder on your pc to make an iso out of and then burning to a disk.

If you want a solderless mod chip, I would go for the X-Chip, but I hear that solderless chips can be more of a hassle than theyre worth. If you want the w/ solder option but also solderless if you want, I can reccommend the Xenium ICE.
