I believe this is the best receiver you could possibly get for around $300 USD ($400 CAD). It matches up to receivers in the $1000+ range, and in fact, even dominates some of them! And if it does not dominate them in features, then it will do so in purity and flow of sound! It is a great upgrade from the 912K, because we now have the JUST-IN Dolby Pro-Logic IIx decoder, more accurate DAC conversions, and a "blistering 110 watts per channel" of six channels (where you can split the last channel between two 55W speakers now, rather than two 50W speakers; the only use of this is that it gives two 50W speakers more headroom, and cools the receiver's last channel's wattage use down by a considerable amount). So, now that I've talked the talk about this great new receiver, who has an opinions on this receiver and its features, quality, and price?

P.S. I bought this receiver with Fluance AV-HTB speakers, which AudioReview.com gave the Best Performer of the Year Award. The reason for this award is because -- just like the receiver -- the AV-HTB can equalize with and even outclass the Polk Audio, Bose, and Klipsch speakers and speaker sets of the $1000-$2000 price range. However, just like the receiver, the speakers need to "break in" for like 50 hours (approximately 2 wholesome days of playing constant music, which in terms of average 4 hours-per-day use would equal to around 13 days or 2 weeks).
