Anyone know a free trial program or software where I can do this? If so, can you post the link, thank you.

Or if you know how to convert ram files to mpeg files, then that would be great, too, because I know how to put mpeg's on a cd.

WinAvi Converter sucks!!

I installed the free version and when I converted Ram to mpeg, the mpeg played, but had the word Win AVI COnverter across the screen!!! Forget them, I'm going to try the other ones.

http://www.mpgdvd.com/avone_rm/ ALSO SUCKS!!!

Maaan!!! They only give me 2 minutes max video conversion!!! Why don't these trail versions warn us of it's limitations before we install them!!!! Oh yah, I guess it's because WE WOULD NOT INSTALL THEM OTHERWISE!! Good grief. I'll try the others, I hope this same things don't happen to the rest.

Hi,
Another great encoding software I use is Super DVD Creator. It can convert RM to DVD or MPEG2 at a really fast speed. Actually it will only take the length of the video's amount of time to convert. I know that's not clear but what I mean is say if your video is 30 mins, than it will take 30 mins to convert. Below is link where you can download the Trial Version of this software.

Download : Super DVD Creator.

If you would take the time to look at the web sites you would see the trial limits. If you don't bother to look I guess the problem is yours.

WinAVI video converter.
Quote:
Free trial limited:
1. It will show a registration window at the startup of WinAVI Video Converter.
2. A watermark will be shown in the media files you converted.
AVOne Gold or RM video converter.
Quote:
Unregistered trial version will cancel the conversion in 2 minutes, so you will get no sound on large file conversion. Registered version do not have this problem.
Boilsoft RM converter.
Quote:
The Demo Version will writes the watermark on the output Frames
EO-Video player/converter/joiner.
Quote:
The player module is totally free! The converter/joiner module has a 30-day trial period. After that time only the player will work. You can activate the full converter/joiner to full version by purchasing a registration key.

I wasn't very succesful with WinAVI video converter. When I went to author it with TMPGEnc DVD Author, it said that the video bitrate was too high. Too bad you can't adjust the video bitrate in WinAVI or it would be an amazing program because it's speed and quality would also be good. I have already wrecked two of my DVD-R's with WinAVI. I made a mistake and ignored the problem in TMPGEnc DVD Author.
