Skipping and Jumping VOBs Solved

This may be old news to you, but I just figured out why some VOB files skip and jump at the same place every time they're played. I'm not talking about entire DVDs backed up onto a hard drive or burned onto a disc, but about VOB files ripped onto a hard drive and then played by themselves without all the DVD navigation information. If you go back and look at the original source DVD you may find that multiple angles become available at the very place the VOBs start to skip and jump. The solution is to rip the VOBs with DVD Decrypter with "Multi Angle Processing" checked and "Retain Angle 1 in VOBs" selected. The VOB will then show a slight hesitation at the points where the multiple angles are removed but will otherwise play normally. Hope that helps.
