Hi all,

Im wondering how I can encode a whole series of tv shows (Band of Brothers) into very small files, but without drastically reducing the quality or resolution of them.

At the moment, I have these files encoded in Xvid, each of the 10 files being roughly 699MB in size each.

I know it's possible to get 60min of movie under 300MB in size, but not sure how?

If anyone knows a way I can get these files much smaller, any feedback would be greatly appreciated, as I am intending to burn these files to CD-R, with perhaps 2x300MB episodes on each.

I've decided to just burn them all to CD's for each.

i'll just answer this, first you need to make the video more compressible, by filtering out the noise, even the best looking dvd have noise in them during scene change, etc.
