The Raspberry Pi 3 is now available for sale, and the upgraded micro PC is still just $35. Model B of the Raspberry Pi 3 now has a quad-core 1.2GHz 64-bit ARM Cortex A53 and embedded Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a massive upgrade from previous models that required USB adapters for the connectivity. Not sure what I would actually do with one of these. I'm a network engineer so I'm thinking a dev might have more planned use for this.

If I can get a great idea from others, I might buy one of these and implement somehow.

With the proper tiny Linux (or Android) build, I don't think it'd be as hard as you might think, Darth, don't sell yourself short. There's already a lot of pre-made software and accessories for these little guys.
