iM TRYING TO BURN AN ORIGINAL REGION 1 DVD, WILL DVD DECRYPTER MAKE IT REGION FREE OR DO I NEED TO USE DVD SHRINK.

Is your DVD writer upgraded with a new firmware? (hacked) You can set it up in Decrypter to burn region free or whatever you want.

either one will back up to hard drive a region free disc

to burn other regions, donwload DVD43 version 1.4 which removes region coding and copy protection.

So bascially just do ifo read and on a dvd disc and burn it to hard drive, then burn it using ifo write to disc and it should be region free Right?

not IFO, rip in ISO read, burn in ISO write, apart from that you got it.

If its too big to burn, use dvd shrink
