I've always used Ritek dvd-rs, but lately I can't afford them (80-95 cents per dvd is too high). I'm looking for recommendations based on personal experience for cheaper media that you've had a low coaster percentage with.
Also, if you know any media that has comparable longevity to Ritek (lasts awhile without degrading in quality), and is also reasonably scratch resistant, please let me know.
The Brand is not Importent to me if the price is right, its all good, and the DVD-R are cheaper Than DVD+R, but for me the brand will always work because i make shore it dose what i tell it to do
where are you getting ritek from for a $1 each?!? You can get them for about $0.50 each at many online sites including meritline, newegg, and shop4tech.
I have used Verbatim and Princo DVD-R's in the past. The Verbatim brand DVD-R's had a pretty good quality, but the price was a little bit higher than the Ritek's I use now (which I manage to be able to get for around $0.50, like sly said). I would probably stick with those if I were you, especially if they work for you. Chances are if you start experimenting around with other brands and burn a lot of coasters, the price per "working disc" will be higher than whatever you can get the media that has been working for.
