TMPGnc DVD Authoring Problem

I had a video file which i was going to author. The video wasn't accepted because it said the resolution wasn't correct. So I downloaded a program that changes the resolution. Now when I try to add the video it doesn't complain about the resolution it just simply says "Could not initialize decoder."

Can someone please help me out with this, Thanks.
