hi i am new to kazaa but i have been told that it is unsafe is this true can people see what you download if its unsafe what is safe?

any help will be great

i been using it for years without any problems. It kinda depends on how you use it i guess. If you choose not to share then your playing alot safer than if so. Also you can use PeerGuardian as a firewall when using your P2P software. This just adds alittle insurance. Peerguardian is a firewall preloaded with RIAA, etc.... IP address that attempt to see who you are.

No p2p can be described as 'safe', as you are breaking the law and like all other illegal activites you can be found out. Programs like peer guardian identify ip address where the RIAA and other record/developers have made arrests from... the problem with these programs is however that the lables are always one step ahead, as they need to make an arrest from that ip address before the p2p firewall program can track it!

Kazaa = Virus Download Program full of Spyware and Adware

If you go by the theory, if you dont share you will be safer.

Well... If everybody doesnt share, of course it will be safer cause there will be nothing to download......
