I have heard a lot of people mention DVD Loader, but can't find it anywhere. Is DVD Loader just the CD Loader, but burnt on a DVD instead of a CD?

Thank You

Sly,
Thanks for the link, but can you help me out even further?

I sent an e-mail to consolemaniac.com with some questions and have not received a response. Here is the e-mail that I sent to them. Can you please read it and let me know if you can help me. Thank you.

Email:
I have a v5 PS2 with Swap Magic and a Fliptop. Will the DVD Loader v7 on your site work on my console?

Also, how do I burn the files onto a blank DVD-R? I have winrar, but after I downloaded the DVD Loader and opened it with winrar, I wasn't sure which file to burn. There was an ISO file and when I clicked on the ISO file multiple files opened up. Do I just burn the ISO file or do I pick one of the other files within the ISO file. I heard that you were supposed to use a CUE file, but I didn't see one.

And lastly, which is the best software to use when burning this loader? I have Nero, DVD Decryptor and Alcohol 120%.

when you open up the .rar file just drag the iso file to your desktop and put it with the iso you are burning.

What do you mean put it with the ISO that you are burning? Do you just burn the ISO from dvd loader?

you put the dvd loader iso file and the ps2 iso file that your ripped, (i use dvd decrypter)and burn the both of them to a dvd media. But not all games require the dvd loader. You can see if the game you want to backup needs dvd loader at http://www.swapmagicfix.com , it will say cd loader instead of dvd loader, ignore this. use cd loader if dvd loader does not work.

Bladerz05, have you actually done that and had it work? your supposed to burn dvd loader to a separate disc than the game.

So if you burn it to its own disk (which is what I thought you had to do) how do you go about doing this when there is no cue file (like CD loader)? I have a v5 PS2 and on some games on swapmagicfix it says you need v7all of CD/DVD loader but none of these come with a cue file to burn it with?

if its a cue file, its cd loader which you burn to cd
if its an iso file, its dvd loader which you burn to dvd
either way, dvd decyrpter can burn it.

Would you burn the folder and all, or just what's inside of it.

what are you talking about? there shouldn't be a folder at all. you just need to burn the cue or iso (depending on which one you have).

put the bin and cue file on your desktop or where ever. then burn the cue file, it will automatically burn the bin.
