Your gonna have to oder it online. I think i can tell you a few places that are in LA that sell chips. socalmods.com and xmodd.com are both in the LA area. But I think socal only does installations with the chip. They dont sell chips.

socalmods was a bit pricy mabe xmodd would be cheaper for installations. still thanks thow

i sall one of ur old replys and found a website called chipinstallation.com and it tells u of people who in stall chips and i found 2 people that live in my same city that will get and install the chip. is 60 US$ worth installation i think is a lot but im new to all this so i dont realy know.

ya im thinking of getting the dms3 so i can upgrade it in the future but it cost like 75$ just for the chip witch is prety pricey but i can get the chip but i need to wait a while so i can get the money for him to install it. hes geting the chip from modchip.ca is that a good place to get modchip. also dou think 75$ is worth paying for the dms3.

Hell no!!!!! Go to Foundmy.com to get the chip. They ar selling them for $36 I do beleive. And yes they are legit I have dealt with them many times. If they are out then go to modchipman.com they have them for $40-$45. $75 is WAY too high. order it yourself and then have him install it!!

I have ordered from BOTH of these places many times. 9 out of 10 times I buy my chips from either one of these guys. The 1 time is for when they are both out of stock on a chip I want. I say go with foundmy first. He is a member on this forum and well respected in the mod community as a whole. You will not be sorry.

I told you I buy from them all the time. Besides with all the chips floating around now days you really don't need to worry about clones. Plus there is no clone for the DMS3. There is a chip that has parsially ripped it code call the ripper2 gold but it looks totally different. If you go on any major ps2 forum like ps2newz.net, ps2ownz, and backup-source you will find many references. This site has been around for over 2 years. If your not gonna beleive what I say then why even ask?

i belive u but im just geting more detales about the chip i trust what u are saying by surching this forum a lot of ansers are ansered by u. u help a lot of people. thanks im going to order from foundmy.com on friday then ill have my installer install it
