i have swapmagic with slide card and have psx change 2
i also have a gameshark with a disc for the ps1 so how do i boot my backup ps1 games on my ps2????

I do not believe it is possible my friend. Without a modchip, it wotn work (so far). Sorry.

Boot the Gameshark disc for the PS1, select start game without codes, when prompted to insert the PS1 game disc, use the slide card to insert it and push X or whatever button to start the game.

If you have something like GameShark Lite, you can't use that. You don't press a button to start the game.

Your best bet is PSX Change 2. That should infact, work perfectly. Boot PSX Change 2. When you get to the screen that tells you to swap, do so with the slide card. Then hit whatever button to start up. It is essentially the exact same process as if you were using it on a real Playstation One.

Correction!
actually i have a no solder rmod that uses the same method as the slide card and i have a "Gameshark Lite" and i boot it up normal and when it ask me to change disc i use the swap trick to put the ps1 backup in and when the tray closes hit x button and all my backups load fine,hence the gameshark lite does work with ps1 backups.
