Ok.....so I damn well know I've seen way too many sci-fi movies, and I plan on seeing way too many more BUT, it does not change the simple fact that our beloved movies have rather realistic plots.

The goal of us creating AI is driven by one thing only, freedom of thought. We want the computers to ultimately think for themselves.

That being said, we are going to be the doom of our own civilization 'cause we indeed will keep trying until the AI is thinking for itself and it will indeed eventually turn and we will be living in Terminator days.
