can someone help what dvdr I should use to burn ps2 games

well I just want to know Whats the best dvdrs I should use to burn to make backup games for my ps2 cause I have 2 little brothers which constanly they grave the games and scratch the sh#@ out of them im only 17 and need help real bad.


oh Yeah my dvd burner is burns - or rw and the brand is a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-R5002 and I have DVD-RW.

i've been using Ritek G04 for about a week now and those discs have been working great. You can get them at supermediastore.com 100 pack for 50 bucks that includes free shipping. So thats a good deal. Stay away from shop4tech.com all they sell is crap.

thanks the software im using right now is Alcohol 120% I don't know how to really use the other programs but someone told me that Alcoho 120% is the easiest to burn ps2

is it true that DVD-RAM you could use that without the mod chip you just put it in the ps2 and it'll play without the mod chip.

Ok yes i understand that alcohol can BURN, ive come across DVD Decrypter to RIP the DVD games, but now i need a program which can RIP CD PS2 games. Can anyone help with this?

No it is not true that DVD-RAM would let you play copise on a non modded ps2. PS2 originals haev to be pressed (manufactured). When a disc is burned the writer will not reproduce the copy protection sectors correctly thus the system knows it is not an original.

I use Sony brand DVD-Rs, they work excellent.

only if the game is compact Cd if the game is cdr but the best without the burner is cdrwin thats a good program and another is Alcohol 120% thats another good program to do your backup ps2 games.

i've been using different dvdrs to experiment...
but somehow when i burn with dvd-rs my ps2 can't read it.. i'm using ridata dvd-rs.. and my burner is BenQ DW1610.. Is it my ps2 lens? or is it my burner?

i had the same problem be 4 with Nero i wont ever used it again. when its copyin the image file it says error and aborts and frezzes my computer up. certin computers u need different programs to burn your games with

the programs i use.. are Nero 6, alcohol, sonic record.. tried all of them... but my ps2 just won't read it.. btw.. what speed should i burn it at? 4x? 8x?

what was that web site. so you can play ps2 back ups online. you have to patch the game so it will be able to play online
