A legal threat from Take-Two has taken down the popular Open IV toolkit used to create mods for Grand Theft Auto titles on PC. Pretty shady using a DRM claim to attack someone and then claiming it was for the players. Of course, given the horrible things the CEO of take 2 said recently, it is no wonder. I'm sure the real concern is that the free mods are better than the ones that they overcharge players for.

I suppose the toolkit will still be available off site via torrent or somesuch.
