CDLoader..? Will It Solve My Problems?

Okay.. I have a V4 Ps2 Modded with a Magic 3 Modchip. And some DVD-Rs do not boot. While CD-Rs boot perfectly. And i was wondering if I got DVDLoader that it would make the DVD-Rs boot. So will it?

What games in particular don't boot? Soul Calibur II? Mine didn't, and yes CDLoader fixed it.

How to boot Soul Calibur II:

Start the machine with Swap Magic CD. Swap to your burned CD Loader disc. When it loads, hit X.

It will give you a menu with some fix options. Pick the one you need for the game you are loading. Soul Calibur II uses Beta 3. Hit X when you have Beta 3 selected.

Now you are back to the first screen, hit Eject. Remove your CD loader, and put in your Swap Magic DVD. Hit Eject again so it goes in. Now hit X, the screen will change tellign you to now swap to your DVD-R. Do so. Once swapped, hit X again, your game will load.

Summary:

Swap Magic CD > CD Loader > Swap Magic DVD, DVD-R.

If you have a Magic 3 modchip you shouldn't need any of that stuff. Is it a Magic 3 or a 3.1?
