hi i notice you can now get a 16x dvd writer does anyone know if you can get discs yet please

Pioneer say the discs will not be available for some time yet, but in the mean time SELECTED 8x discs can be burnt at 16x.

As for other manufacturers, I can't say I've read their press releases.

i wouldnt get your hopes up, people still dont trust 8x and even if you do manage to burn 16x on a 8x disc that doesnt mean it will be good quality or that the burn wont fail really soon.
