Hi,

Wondering if anyone has encountered this problem.

I've been buying a number of Region 3 disks lately. When I copy the ones from Korea, the English subtitles do not show up on either of the two stand-alone DVD players I own.

Yet I know subtitles are there because I can access them on my computer using Real Player or Windows Media Player.

I haven't had this problem with English subs and stand-alone DVD players when I've copied some of the Thai films I've ordered. The problem seems to be just with the Korean ones.

As a bit of background, I enable DVD43 before opening DVD Shrink. All subpicture streams are checked in DVD Shrink and all subtitle languages are enabled. I burn using Record Now MAX.

Like I said, I know subtitles are on the disk as I can see them in Windows Media Player. But why can't I see them on the stand alone DVD players (and I've fiddled extensively with all of the menus on the stand alones -all subtitles should be there)?

Any comments?
