My problem is when I play some svcd's (& vcd's, DVD's) on my PAL JVC DVD player (model XVS302SL which is SVCD and VCD compatible) some of them will play fine until half way through they will start jumping or freezing and the sound goes funny (high pitched clicks). It doesn't happen on all SVCD's some play fine. I have also had the same happen on some backup DVD's as well. They all play perfectly on my PC.

I have read that it is to do with the audio not being at the correct bit rate? is this true? If so what do I do to change it? I am in England so my DVD player is PAL format.

Also the original files prior to burning are bin files. If I do have to change the audio bit rate then how do I do this to a bin file? I do not have the original mpeg as I download the files as bin files.

Do I have to extract the mpeg from the bin file, change the bit rate in the audio then convert it back to a bin file? If so please can someone explain the process of this.

I am relatively new to this so an explanation in easy steps would be great.
