Have any of U heard of an American brand named Peragon Audio?.. Are they any good?..Apparently my cousin got a 5.1 surround sound off someone apparently it sounds too good to be true lol.. Paid $300 for a system thats worth $2300?.. I have never heard of this brand b4..

If the box says the retail is $2300, and they sold them for $300, I'd say they are a "White Van Speakers" scam. Wikipedia.com says they aren't worth more than $50. See here, what Wikipedia says about white van speakers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_van_speaker_scam

In reply to Greedy87 and JVC post regarding Peragon Audio DVD Surround Sound System... I agree with JVC...this is a "White Van Speakers" scam. I know, I was just scammed! Wish I had read this forum first. Found this site after. Joined so I could post and warn others. Also found several identical systems for sale on Kijiji at various prices. Just wondering to Greedy87 - what did you do with the system you purchased?

Hey,


Does anyone have any information on Peragon audio?

A friend of mine bought a set of speakers (white van speakers) and the amp blew up on him. I traced it back to a poor transformer which will be a pretty easy swap.
Just want to know the ratings of the transformer before I throw one in.
V is rated on the transformer, just don't know the I rating.
If anyone has any info on paragon, or who makes the equipment, I'd really appreciate it.
