I'm looking to buy this receiver:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882105283
What I need to do though is convert the component output of my satellite box into a coaxial cable so I can connect it to the shared tv "network" I have running through my home (coaxial cables running to each room with the initial input feed being a coaxial port next to the satellite and receiver boxes).
Is this possible to do other than running through some old VCR? Also, is it possible to somehow split the component signal so the downgraded one goes directly into the coaxial system and the HD one still goes into the receiver?
