Yamaha RX-V471 Sur.Decode Button ?

Hi , I recently picked one of these up and was wondering if there is anyone hanging around that is quite familiar with the model ? Generally I'm very happy with it and think it sounds really good ( I haven't upgraded my AV rec. since 1997 LOL ) . On the remote when I select Sur.Decode , according to the manual it is supposed to switch between Pro Logic , PLII , PLII Music etc.. . I'm assuming this is for TV programs , movies , whatever ? When I do what the manual says ( press repeatedly ) it only says Sur Decode Straight , no other options . I see there is a ' straight ' button and I make sure that is off .
I'm used to my old RX-V990 ha so please be kind.
