I'm trying to connect my laptop to my Panasonic 26" HD Ready LCD TV.

I'm using a VGA Cable and when I try set the resolution to 1366 x 768 (which is the TV's native resolution according to the spec) it does not appear in the drop down list.

I have upgraded my laptop from vista to 7. And before when I had vista, the recommended resolution appeared in the list. But now you have to choose a res.

I can set it to output 1024x768 but the screen looks stretched as it should.

I tried updating drivers but they don't need to be updated.

I tried restarting my laptop with the cable plugged in.

Nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Thank you.
