So I have a new HDTV coming in which I'm super excited about. It has both HDMI and VGA hookups

My current setup is with a powerful video card that has 3 connections. 1x DVI, 1x HDMI and 1x VGA.

Currently I use the DVI and VGA for a 22in monitor (dvi) and a 19in monitor (vga) to do a DUAL monitor setup, the DVI is the primary desktop and the VGA is the extended.

What I am looking to do is to have all 3 connected. I want the 22in to still be the primary desktop and the the 19in and the HDTV to be the extended desktops.

I am ok with mirroring the 2 extended desktops so they show the same images.

Is a VGA splitter the way to go? I know it may be the simplest solution but will it ultimately give me the best results?

Both monitors have DVI and VGA hookups. I am looking for the best solution to connect all 3, and to have the best possible resolution on the HDTV, but I'm still unclear if a splitter will allow for that, even if I use a HDMI splitter with one monitor using a HDMI-DVI switch.

I'm new to this realm, so I'm all ears!
