Dell Latitude 120L to HDTV

Ok guys, I need some mega help here.

Basically my Latitude has a VGA output, therefore I purchased a VGA to RGB cable.

However on the TV there is no input PC etc, this is the reason why I had the purchase the VGA to RGB. Although even after connecting the two together, I cannot find the PC on the TV, on any channel.

Is there something Im missing?
