Domino Sim2 projector problem--need help

I have a Domino Sim2 projector connected to an Integra-10.5 AV receiver. Intermittently, the picture on the screen gets blurred on the bottom quarter, then goes dark and a message appears at the top left corner that says HDMI no signal. I changed the cable connection with no change. I also have a LCD tv connected to the system that can run at the same time as the projector. The LCD has no problems. I assume either the projector or the receiver has a problem. How can I tell which is bad?
