Recently upgraded to a whole new PC system and am now able to connect to my monitor via HDMI. The monitor I am using is my Phillips TV (which supports PC input and has a 'PC Mode'.

However after 10 or so minutes of use, the picture goes blank (as if resetting HDMI connections) and reappears with a overall pinkish colour scheme. A temporary fix is to reset the connect either by changing resolution or unplug HDMI cable and back again.

I have already updated my video card drivers (ATI Radeon HD 5400 series) which were out-of-date initially but updating has not fixed it. I've also updated my TV firmware. Hasn't fixed it.

Higher or lower resolutions do not affect the speed of change (1080p is the same as 800x600). Interestingly, if I take a screen shot of the image when it is pinkish, it comes up normal on all picture viewing software on all platforms (PSP, PS3,etc). I use this same HDMI cable with the ps3 and it works perfectly, so the cable is not faulty.

Any suggestions please?
