HD TV connection to digi box and 5.1 surround sound

I have a new samsung TV, a new samsung 5.1 surround sound system, and a new Eurovox 7000HD digi box.
I would like all the sound to go through the 5.1 surround sound system.
Is this possible?
If so, how do I connect the three units to achieve this?

The TV has 4 HDMI connections
The digi box has 1 HDMI connection

I am older than I would like to be, and a novice in these things.
Any help would be much appreciated.
