I am trying to decide on a plasma and have narrowed it down to (p.s. in Canada)

Samsung 50" 1080p 600Hz Plasma HDTV** (PN50B540) for $1499

Panasonic 46" 1080p Plasma HDTV** (TCP46U1) for $1499

LG 50" Plasma HDTV** 720p(50PQ30) for $1099

Panasonic Viera 50" Plasma HDTV** 720p (TCP50C1) $1399

Samsung 50" Plasma HDTV** 720p (PN50B450) for $1199

My budget is $1500 taxes included. I can likely get anything priced $1499 for $1500 taxes included. I would prefer to have a 50", but 46" might due. Do you all think I should go with the 1080p since that is the way technology is going, or will I be just fine with 720p for watching hockey and movies. Thanks all.
