Panasonic TC-P50X3 TV USB Mass Storage Audio Problem

I recently bought a panasonic TC-P50X3 TV, and it has usb plugs on the side for mass storage devices. I plugged one in, tried to play a movie off it, and it played the movie, but said it could not play the sound. I wanted to know how I can correct this. The file is an MKV and the Audio is DTS. Is there a way I can play the movies with sound w/o having to convert ALL the files, some sort of plug in I can use? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
