possible toshiba dlp lamp mod?

Ok guys I am just curious, is there a way to make or modify a regular halogen bulb for use in your house lighting to work in a toshiba dlp and make it work properly?

Also Would there possibly be a way to use voltage regulators and step down capacitors, and make a circuit board to make either a regular halogen bulb work or create a led bulb to work properly in the toshiba dlp?

I know it sound goofy and if this would work why hasnt it been done yet but I had to ask. Thankyou.
